Experienced Production Planner Coordinator (1st shift) (Finance)



As an Experienced Production Planner Coordinator, you will apply your expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve production control output and continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1st shift 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday
  • Maintain continuous surveillance of material status to ensure that problem areas are identified and addressed to prevent impact to production and program goals.
  • Take action to prevent, minimize or eliminate any impacts due to material problems.
  • Report the status of material to allow other functional groups to focus their efforts to effectively support program material goals.
  • Cycle counts
  • Physical inventory and reconciliation.
  • Follow necessary procedures, controls, analysis, and records to ensure an effective and auditable inventory control system.
  • Coordinate/execute material transfers.
  • Managing and running program open order reports.
  • Coordinate physical inventories, reconciliations and reporting of material in support of on-going programs, program close-outs, and terminations.
  • Material availability review.
  • Continuous improvement.

You will report directly to our Materials Management Manager and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on a onsite work schedule.You Must Have

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Working knowledge of basic computer skills.
  • Ability to make decisions using data provided.
  • Follows instructions and applies Honeywell policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.

  • Prior experience in supply chain and/or inventory control.
  • Ability to use judgement to drive solutions.
  • SAP experience highly desired

  • Coordinate and manage production planning activities, including developing and executing production plans, monitoring production schedules, and ensuring ontime delivery
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including procurement, logistics, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the production planning process
  • Monitor and analyze production data, identify bottlenecks or issues, and implement corrective actions to optimize production efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production planning processes, reduce lead times, and improve overall operational performance
  • Maintain accurate production records, including production schedules, inventory levels, and production metrics
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components to support production schedules
  • Support the implementation of new production planning systems or tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in production planning to drive innovation and process improvements
