Position Overview:

Reporting to the Manager, Product Management –nCino Loan Origination Platform, this individual will define, deliver, and evolve the nCino platform aligned to Wintrust Lending Strategy.  Core duties include: engaging with various departments across and at all levels of the organization to analyze existing business and operational procedures, prescribing how needs may be best met through process improvement via nCino features and functions; establishes the end-to-end target user experience via process flow and functional design user story definition; and consults with IT, Vendor, and Third-Party Implementation Partners in feasibility and solution design analysis.  The Product Owner will also work in collaboration with the Enterprise Salesforce Product and IT teams to deliver tightly integrated lending processes from Lead Identification to Customer Onboarding and Administration across the two platforms.  Duties may expand to serve cross line of business and cross platform capabilities.

Key accountabilities

Product Design and Innovation: Liaise with Business Stakeholders and End Users, nCino Loan Origination and Salesforce Product Teams, nCino Loan Origination and Salesforce IT Teams, and partners across Wintrust to elicit functional requirements and consult on platform capability enhancement and expansion.  Evaluate vendor roadmap for new features and functions to support Wintrust business needs.

Product Requirements Definition: Produce related project documentation to support capability enhancement and expansion including: business requirements in the form of JIRA user stories with related current and target state process flows, as well as supporting user acceptance test scripts to drive business validation.  Lead related Business Requirements sign-off and Sprint Demos.

Product Testing and Validation: Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing among Product Team, Business Stakeholders and End Users, perform and oversee test script execution and report defects back to IT to resolve issues prior to implementation.

Product Rollout and Training: Partner with Manager, Business Stakeholders, and Learning & Development to define custom training content, participating in end-user training sessions as the Product SME.

Product Management and Administration: Assist end users with business administration, production issue escalation and resolution, functional support, special projects, and work with the Manager to prioritize and align business requests to the Strategic Roadmap.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years working in a financial services environment with special emphasis on coordinating business functional requirements and project management across large, cross-functional teams, programs, or projects

  • 3+ years working on the nCino LOS Platform in a BA or Product Owner role

  • 3+ years working on the Salesforce CRM Platform in support of nCino product delivery

  • 1+ years working on Process Flows in Visio or other relevant software and User Stories in JIRA

  • Advanced knowledge in Product Management and Delivery, Business Operations, and Change Management

  • Must possess exceptional leadership, service, business analysis, time management, and organizational skills

  • Must possess ability to be creative and think outside-of-the box to see the whole business picture while maintaining an exceptional eye for detail

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical people, and align cross-collaborative teams on common goals

  • Must possess ability to create and manage JIRA user stories throughout the SDLC process following AGILE methodology

  • Must have working knowledge of business productivity tools like Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, and Visio.

  • Product Owner Certification, nCino Administrator Certification, Salesforce Administrator Certification a plus

  • Excellent attitude, positive demeanor, and strong collaborator focused on goal attainment

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000,  along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
