Job Title: MES Consultant – Semiconductor Industry

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled MES Consultant with 6–8 years of experience in implementing and optimizing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within the semiconductor industry. This role requires a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and the ability to align MES solutions with business and production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support MES implementation projects across semiconductor fabs and assembly/test facilities.
• Analyze current manufacturing processes and recommend MES-driven improvements.
• Integrate MES with ERP, PLM, SCADA, and other enterprise systems.
• Configure MES workflows, data models, and user interfaces to meet operational needs.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless MES adoption.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements post-deployment.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO, SEMI, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of hands-on experience with MES platforms (e.g Rockwell Automation
MES FactoryTalk Production Center will be have highest weightage, Camstar,
Cimetrix, Applied SmartFactory, FabTime, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (front-end and/or
back-end).
• Experience with system integration (ERP, PLCs, SCADA, IoT).
• Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and semiconductor yield management.
• Project management or Agile/Scrum certification.
• Experience with cloud-based MES or hybrid architectures.
