Lead Eng Tech II (Finance)



Be part of an engineering team that is defining the future of Honeywell Lighting products. You will work closely with engineering leadership and program management to support new product introductions which include, but not limited to, building engineering development units, capturing and interpreting technical data, data reporting for internal and external customers, input to engineering test planning and scheduling activity. May act as liaison between engineering lab, Integrated Supply Chain (factory), and other functional groups within the Lighting Center of Excellence site.

You will report directly to our Sr Eng Pgm Manager and you'll work out of our Urbana, OH location on an On-site work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating test processes to support production and qualification testing
  • Serve as project focal to support the management of testing, troubleshooting, and prototype builds
  • Provide technical knowledge to support NPI product development and qualification testing.
  • Direct activities to enable test equipment builds
  • Facilitates the troubleshooting and repair of products and test equipment down to the component level
  • Support technical questions and provide oversight as needed with internal customers

  • 2 year associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in maintaining, trouble shooting, and repairing electronic product and test systems
  • 2+ years of experience in reading and interpret electrical, mechanical drawings and schematics
