  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace or metal casting.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to coordinate across departments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
  • Advanced Excel, Power Query, or database management skills for efficient production analysis.
Job Summary:

The Plant Sales Representative (PSR) is the primary liaison between Howmet Aerospace operations and a dedicated portfolio of customer accounts. This role manages quoting and pricing strategies, forecasting, production coordination, and customer communications. Acting as an internal and customer facing advocate for assigned accounts, the PSR drives cross-functional alignment across engineering, operations, and quality to achieve on-time delivery and meet both customer expectations and internal targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages customer order portfolios from quote to shipment, including commercial negotiations and accurate cost model creation and support.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams-including manufacturing, quality assurance, planning, and shipping to optimize financial and customer goal attainment.
  • Coordinates with operations, engineering, planning, logistics, and quality to ensure seamless execution and issue resolution.
  • Actively monitors assigned portfolio of production inventory and finished goods to optimize workflow, reduce bottlenecks, and maximize throughput by interacting with operations and other functions to take actions that progress WIP and Finished Goods into a sale.
  • Ensures parts are on track and progressing, proactively manages purchase order bookings and acceptance, actively works to remove barriers impeding superior deliveries and coordinates actions with operations, engineering and planning to optimize commit achievement.
  • Analyzes customer forecasts, escalates major changes, and coordinates delivery needs, demand, capacity, forecasts, and other data to provide superior commit and delivery accuracy and proactively works with customers to increase forecast accuracy.
  • Represents the facility during customer visits, calls, and escalations and is the focal point for customer interactions including the scheduling, hosting, and associated duties for both onsite visits and external travel to customers locations.
  • Process Improvement: Identifies opportunities to enhance scheduling efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize waste.
  • Coordinates and appropriately influences operations, planning, engineering and quality to eliminate any overdue situations (scheduling, staffing, production time, production plans, and overtime).
  • Supports audits of inventory and cycle counts to ensure accuracy throughout the year.
  • Validates all planned daily shipments and actual shipments to achieve and support operations.
