Sr. Project Manager, Strategy & Execution (Finance)



The USIS Operations team seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead business operational readiness for all New Product Innovations (NPIs) in close partnership with our Product and Operations teams. This pivotal role demands a resourceful professional with strong critical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills, thriving under pressure within a fast-paced, process-driven environment. We're looking for an entrepreneurial individual eager to navigate ambiguity and proactively drive results.

What you'll do

  • Manage the full lifecycle of multiple, concurrent projects , of varying complexity & stages of implementation; from planning and resource allocation to execution and timely completion, aligning all efforts with business priorities.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans by assembling cross-functional teams, and leveraging robust project management methodologies to ensure successful implementation across system, technology, and validation phases.
  • Drive operational readiness for new product innovations (NPIs) , leveraging an operational checklist and creating essential documentation to ensure seamless pre-launch preparation and post-launch success.
  • Utilize strong critical and strategic thinking to proactively identify and manage cross-team dependencies, critical paths, and potential risks, ensuring project success and mitigating schedule or scope issues.
  • Communicate project status and key metrics effectively to project sponsors, key stakeholders, and senior leadership, ensuring alignment and transparency. Develop tailored status updates for executive level review.
  • Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships to gain deep insights into operational processes, challenges, and interdependencies, to improve future engagements. Use these relationships to influence policies and practices across the organization.
  • Champion continuous improvement within the Operational Readiness team, actively seeking ways to create, simplify, and unify processes, practices, and team culture.

What experience you need
  • Bachelors of Arts or Science Degree
  • Knowledge of the Product Life Cycle
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology
  • Minimum of 3 years in a program/project management role managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Adept in critical & strategic thinking
  • Self-driven, fast learner with ability to manage through ambiguity, while identifying and solving problems with minimal guidance and limited resources.
  • An engaging communicator and collaborator with the ability to influence, motivate, and drive cross-functional teams to success

What could set you apart
  • Knowledge of Google Suite products
  • PMP or other project/program management certification
  • Experience with LucidCharts, Google Sheets and Smartsheet
  • Experience building reports and dashboards
