As a member of Aruba hardware engineering team, the Hardware Engineering Manager will employ their engineering skills to ensure hardware compatibility, manufacturing readiness, and quality on new and existing SASE products . The successful candidate will lead the team to own hardware quality assurance, field

quality metrics, sustaining activity, and environmental compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team consisting of hardware quality assurance, sustaining, and failure analysis on SASE Products

• Create and maintain HW and SW interoperability matrix

• Co-ordinate compatibility testing on new product and components with various vendor and/or equipment

• Review factory quality with Aruba quality team and drive improvement actions as necessary

• Co-ordinate cross functional supplier Failure Analysis (FA)

• Collaborate with FAE, HW, and SW engineering to escalate critical failures, identify trends, and validate resolution.

• Document current process, enhance and build automated/standardized Quality dashboard.

• Maintain ECO matrix for refurbished products.

• Maintain a design for reliability/service guide. Review upcoming designs for DFR/DFS requirements.

• Review product environmental compliance for RoHS, REACH, WEEE and validate compliance through Aruba supply chain.

• Respond to customer Quality/Environmental compliance queries.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum of 4-6 years of managing a technical team

• Understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel, Salesforce and Jira

• Understanding of PCBA assembly and system integration a MUST

• Understanding of manufacturing process and test a MUST

• Background in hardware quality assurance and product reliability a plus

If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. USD Annual Salary: $130,500.00 - $300,000.00
