Solventum Purification & Filtration business

We are pleased to announce that Solventum has entered into a definitive agreement to sell our Purification & Filtration business to Thermo Fisher Scientific. This transaction is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, receipt of regulatory approvals, and country specific information and consultation needs where required. This is a significant milestone for the P&F business and will allow for the strategic investment and resources needed for sustaining growth and delivering customer solutions. The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Facilities Coordinator at Solventum, you'll join a collaborative and innovative team that supports our internal clients and on-site partners. You'll play a critical role in maintaining efficient, safe, and forward-thinking workspaces through preventative maintenance, space planning, vendor coordination, and process improvement. As a Facilities Coordinator you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Preventative Maintenance Administration (30%)

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program.
  • Assign, track, and report on PM work orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Develop and maintain metrics to monitor performance and support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation by signing off and filing completed PM records.

Client Support & Vendor Coordination (20%)

  • Act as the main point of contact between business units, vendors, and service providers.
  • Coordinate delivery of facility services including security, custodial, maintenance, and other vendor-driven operations.
  • Communicate and enforce corporate policies related to facilities.
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding business needs and delivering effective solutions.

Space Planning & Workplace Design (30%)

  • Assist in space planning, office moves, and workplace design using company tools and planning software.
  • Support the execution of move/add/change (MAC) requests, ensuring alignment with space utilization standards.
  • Provide direction to contractors and vendors during workplace projects.
  • Apply standard design templates and help implement furniture and space allocation standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration (15%)

  • Partner with other Facilities Coordinators and internal functions including Engineering, IT, and Sourcing.
  • Build a network of internal and external resources to support facility initiatives.
  • Participate in the execution of building assignments and project work using established practices.

Operations & Cost Management (5%)

  • Monitor and analyze facility operational costs using reports and systems (e.g., operations registers, work order reports, asset reports).
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce costs and improve service delivery.
  • Contribute to budget planning and provide input to the global forecast process.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND a minimum of one year of related experience in a private, public, government or military environment .

OR
  • High School Diploma/GED AND minimum of five years of related experience in a private, public, government or military environment .

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Previous facilities management experience

Work location: Onsite

Travel: No Travel

Relocation Assistance: Not authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $63,279 - $77,341, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
