As we work to transform and optimize Mars, a new program has been mobilized by the Mars leadership team. The program is focused on the design and implementation of SAP S/4Hana in Mars across Segments (Petcare, Corporate, Snacking & Food). Much more than a simple "Lift and Shift," this program will undertake a major process simplification and harmonization scope as we digitally transform our business.

The program is focused primarily on eight mega process areas: Finance, Source to Pay (procurement and vendor mgmt.), Plan to Fulfill (manufacturing and distribution), Lead to Cash (order processing and payment), Governance, Engage to Consume (marketing), Idea to Market (R&D), and Recruit to Retire (HR). This transformation requires thought leadership, quality decision making, deep technical know-how, and an ability to navigate complex business challenges while applying a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach to each of these mega processes. As part of program, a new role has been created to lead the SAP DevOps workstream, managing the design, implementation and operation of DevOps practices within the SAP S/4Hana landscape including S/4Hana, BTP extensions, ABAP development and integration components. This role is a critical leadership role demanding a balanced blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking; as well as driving a robust scalable and secure SAP ecosystem aligned with global standards.

What are we looking for?

  • 7+ years of SAP DevOps experience with minimum 2 full lifecycle S/4Hana implementations.
  • Deep understanding of SAP S/4Hana technical Architecture, transports and extensions
  • SAP Certified Technology Associate
  • Experience working within Agile or Hybrid delivery models
  • Familiarity with non ABAP SAP Development ( SAP Fiori/UI5)
  • Exposure to SAP BTP and Cloud ALM/Active Control
  • Hands-on experience with SAP landscape Transformation , Fiori and SAP Gateway services.
  • Experience managing multi-instance environments and working within a template-led approach transformation .
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms and hybrid infrastructure models.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, leadership and communication skills.
  • Have team player attitude and hunger to develop new professional skills combined with proactive, development-minded, and goal-focused attitude to work
  • Excellent documentation, visualization and presentation skills
  • Have experience working with System Integrator and Business Integrator, 3rd parties
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a professional manner.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
  • Lead all SAP DevOps activities across the global S/4Hana Landscape and collaborate/work with existing BAU Basis Team.
  • Lead a small DevOps team and coordinate with SI.
  • Define DevOps Strategy
  • Manage ABAP and custom code
  • Manage CI/CD Pipeline
  • Align transport strategies with delivery cycles and support dual-track landscapes
  • Manage SAP DevOps tool landscape
  • Manage cross-team and stakeholder relationships to drive collaboration and meet shared goals
  • Apply problem solving and critical thinking to enable the identification of Technology and Risks associated.
  • Work effectively in diverse team within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and implement best practice to enhance SAP ecosystem.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.The total compensation package for this position mayalso include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offeredand the employee's work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

$133,066.67 - $166,325.00 + 20% bonus
