Validation Quality Engineer (Finance)

How Will You Make an Impact?

As a Validation Quality Engineer, you will serve as a key liaison between quality, engineering, and global manufacturing teams to ensure the successful validation and compliance of products, processes, and systems. Your work will directly influence the launch and ongoing improvement of customer programs, with a focus on quality standards, validation protocols, and continuous process optimization.

What Will You Do?

Validation & Quality Oversight:

  • Lead and support validation activities, including Process Validation, Computer System Validation (CSV), and Test Method Validation (TMV).

  • Ensure validation plans meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.

  • Support new product introductions through the development and execution of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and process optimization strategies.

  • Provide technical oversight for process improvement and standardization efforts across global customer accounts.

Customer & Supplier Interface:

  • Act as the quality liaison for global customer accounts, coordinating quality activities and ensuring resolution of issues.

  • Review and investigate supplier and customer discrepancies; drive corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) and monitor effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to support process improvements and participate in supplier survey and qualification efforts as needed.

  • Partner with internal departments to align with policies, procedures, and customer quality expectations.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance (QA) documentation, inspection aids, and instruction guidelines.

  • Establish systems for document storage, access, review, and maintenance for global quality records.

  • Support quoting activities by participating in process design, development, and implementation phases.

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining process improvement initiatives using proactive quality methodologies.

  • Contribute to training efforts by developing and delivering customer-specific quality training programs.

Team Collaboration & Support:

  • Provide technical support and mentorship to Quality Engineer I and II team members.

  • Participate in cross-functional efforts to drive continuous improvement in quality performance.

  • Comply with all safety, health, and security protocols.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

How Will You Get Here?

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality engineering or validation.

  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of Process Validation, CSV, and TMV in a regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity with quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA QSR, or ISO 9001).

  • Skilled in quality tools and methodologies such as APQP, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with customers, suppliers, and internal teams globally.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or document control systems.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to lead projects and drive continuous improvement in quality and compliance.

The pay range for this role is $79,400 - $143,000. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: June 12, 2025.
