Enrollment Management Specialist - MDD Building (Finance)
Full-time position reporting to the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs responsible for the maintenance and provision of accurate student records for students, staff, and faculty, and internal departments as needed to ensure effective service to students and compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act regulations (FERPA). Individual will also report to the Director of Records and Registration for quality assurance of processes.Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate related field of study, or a High School diploma with a minimum of three years of directly related experience. In a specialized academic area, this position may require or prefer a degree in that field of study. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred Qualification:
A bachelor's degree in education or a related field, a master's degree preferred; and at least three years of higher education experience, preferably registrar experience. Management experience to include preparing and monitoring budgets. Demonstrated knowledge of student information systems and familiar with registration procedures. Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, sensitivity to diverse populations, and ability to handle multiple tasks. Intermediate or advanced computer proficiency with Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
FLSB1310 Equivalency:
4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.
6 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for master's degree.

Applies the laws and regulations of higher education in Florida. Collaborates with the college administration to establish student course schedules and communicates with administration and students regarding course changes and enrollment status. Implements policies and procedures that ensure effective and efficient operations of the records and registration office.

Maintains student academic records. Input student attendance and grades. Coordinates the college's student information management software and cross-training for student affairs staff.

Collaborates with administrators, faculty, and other staff to coordinate registration, progression, and graduation functions. Assists the Academic Performance Review Committee with the administration of progression, appeals, readmission, and grade changes.

Manages the maintenance of permanent academic records, to include entrance transcripts and test scores; provides oversight for the evaluation of transcripts and ensures compliance with residency requirements. Coordinates the submission of mid-term and final grades, and notifies staff, faculty, and students that grades are available.Review and process graduate student transcripts. Certifies graduates and verifies student eligibility requests.

Creates reports and student data for use by internal and external entities. Develops annual goals, objectives, and assessment methods for all areas of responsibility. Prepares statistical reports for assessment data. Demonstrate superior professional and customer service skills in support of daily interaction with students, faculty, and staff. Maintain confidentiality and security of student records. Collaborates with the Assistant Dean and the Director to facilitate and improve services to students.
