Director of Athletic Ticket Operations (Finance)



Department: Athletics Salary: $56,800-$65,000
Description:

Under the direction of the unit head for the Ticket Office, the Director is responsible for Day-to-Day office management and customer service, along with the sale and distribution of tickets for UH Athletics and other events held in UH Athletics facilities.

1. Manages and supervises full-time staff, part-time staff, and students to provide leadership, guidance and

training.

2. Oversees all aspects of ticketing for assigned sport(s) and supports third-party special events as needed.

3. Maintains database records and accounting to ensure accurate daily and yearly ticket sales reports, revenue

deposits, and other additional reports as requested by the athletics department.

4. Works collaboratively with internal units and external partners to execute strategic, effective and successful

ticket sales plans and initiatives that align with achieving annual department goals.

5. Responsible for providing system reporting to report revenue, attendance, event audits.

6. Understands NCAA regulations related to ticketing for at home and away competitions to include recruits,

high school coaches, players, public, and donors.

7. Ensures compliance with established policies and procedures and adherence to appropriate audit controls as

required by internal/external auditors.

8. Manages third-party relationships with approved vendors of Athletics and the University

9. Remains current on industry best practices and technology regarding ticketing and ticket software.

10. Performs other job-related duties as required.

Additional Requirements: Candidate must be proficient in Paciolan Ticketing Software

MQ:
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
