We are currently seeking a Pursuit Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing and Communication Department. The ideal candidate loves to write and is a creative thinker and self-starter with excellent communication skills. The candidate should also be detail-oriented, organized, and a team player who will enjoy writing for a variety of target audiences.

What Will You Do:

• Plan, write, design and produce high-impact, creative sales materials and presentations (including responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications).
• Provide coaching and project support to teammates within the department.
• Provide strategic counsel and support to business development representatives across the company and interact closely with other Project Development units, including Marketing and Estimating departments.
• Interact with employee-owners at all levels of the company to support departments, field operations, business development, as well as with external partners and vendors.
• Translate complex strategies and themes into easy-to-understand communications.
• Proof and manage proposals and presentations while also creating and maintaining other sales documents/media, including project description sheets and employee bios.
• Make technical subject matter more engaging for a lay audience, while communicating value and benefits.
• Research support for the sales process.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism , Electronic Media, Marketing, Communications, or related.
• 3-5 years of work experience in marketing, communications or sales type role.
• Experience responding to RFPs/RFQs
• Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and other Creative Suite applications (Mac environment)
• Detail-oriented self-starter who looks for ways to continually improve processes and end result.
• Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Collaborative team member.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of the Construction industry preferred.
