Looking for a new and exciting opportunity to impact the future of Spine Surgery? Join Medtronic Spine and Biologics as a Senior Group Marketing Manager with the Spine AiBLE Integration Team. This unique team combines our spinal systems and procedures with our market leading Enabling Technology and Data Solutions. This Senior Group Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the spine procedural and product integration into our Enabling Technology platforms and supporting various Spine initiative across Cranial and Spinal Technologies (CST). Primary responsibilities will include collaborating and advising the Core Global Marketing Team, gathering enabling technology and data requirements for spine programs, and launching software to support the integration of spine implants and instruments. Collaboration and support activities will include identifying customer needs, supporting customer engagements, collaborating on the ideation, scoping, execution and launch of new spine implants and instrument systems, and driving new market innovations and capabilities within Medtronic's Enabling Technologies portfolio, most notably in Data, AI, Planning, Navigation, Robotics, Drilling, and Neuromonitoring. As a cross-functional contributor, the Senior Group Marketing Manager will lead a team of two people and be responsible for facilitating a cohesive strategy across the portfolio. This individual will have a player coach role and will have direct responsibility for the TL posterior portfolio, Anterior Cervical portfolio and Neuromonitoring portfolio along with their management responsibilities.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Strategic Program & Product Development: Lead global programs from business case development through feasibility assessment and commercialization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including R&D, marketing, and insights-to define clinical needs, identify unmet market demands, and plan product lifecycle evolution.
  • Market & Financial Analysis: Conduct market, sales, and financial analyses-including health economic assessments-and evaluate reimbursement strategies to inform portfolio decisions. Perform competitive analysis and recommend adjustments to product design, pricing, and inventory strategy.
  • Commercialization & Launch Support: Own the US commercial launch for the AiBLE procedural strategy. Support regional product launches, including training and marketing material development. Manage global product responsibilities and ensure alignment with commercialization processes.
  • Customer & Clinical Engagement: Partner with surgeons to support product development and collect clinical data, while gathering Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Business (VOB) insights. Leverage trade shows and customer programs to validate market trends and inform strategic decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of two, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to achieve spine procedure goals. This individual must have a player-coach mentality and will have both project and strategic responsibilities. They will lead cross functional initiatives that support the strategy and execution of AiBLE procedural solutions.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including core product marketing, R&D, sales, medical education, and product management to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Travel - 30%

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in consumer marketing, product management or similar experience with 5+ years of people or program managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of people or program managerial experience.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Orthopedics and/or Spine
  • Experience in digital health platforms (Navigation, Robotics, Data/AI)
  • Direct experience with neuromonitoring technology both development and commercialization
  • Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration skills working with various stakeholders across multiple organizations
  • Experience learning technical products quickly
  • Experience working with a broad sales force and interacting with hospital clinicians
  • Ability to influence cross functional team members without direct reporting

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$156,000.00 - $234,000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
