Reservations Agent - Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort (Administrative)



Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is looking for a Reservation Agent to join the team! Classification: Full Time

Shift: Varies AM/PM - including weekends and holidays.

Hourly Rate: $25.62 - $32.03

 

What will I be doing?

As a Reservation Agent, you would be responsible for answering telephone inquiries in a friendly, enthusiastic, and courteous manner, employ sales techniques to secure and process reservations for guest accommodations in a timely manner consistent with Hilton's high standards of quality.

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the hotel. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Operates facsimile machine to send, receive, and log incoming transmissions. Notifies guests using the message function of a moderately complex computer of incoming faxes.
  • Uses the photocopier to make copies of items as required.
  • Files registration cards in room number order.
  • Initiates reports and retrieves printed forms from computer printer.
  • Verifies credit card authorizations for processing advance deposits.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor such as assisting PBX operators or performing certain responsibilities as a Guest Service Agent.
