Supervisor, Manufacturing Repair & Maintenance - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)



Description:

The Supervisor will oversee all maintenance activities in our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The role will ensure that all equipment, utilities, and systems are maintained in optimal condition to support GMP-compliant manufacturing operations. This role includes planning, supervising, and coordinating preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance efforts to minimize downtime and ensure regulatory compliance.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise day-to-day maintenance operations, including equipment repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, and lead a team of technicians and contractors in the repair and upkeep of production equipment, utilities, and cleanroom environments.
  • Provide leadership in the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance, while also overseeing the development and training of maintenance staff to enhance technical competencies, promote safety, and support career growth.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities, root cause resolutions of equipment concerns, and NOI investigations are documented in accordance with GMP and regulatory guidelines.
  • Train and mentor maintenance personnel to enhance skill levels and operational effectiveness and ensure adherence to safety policies, and promote a culture of safety and compliance among team members.
  • Improve the availability of equipment while providing support to manufacturing to limit downtime. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Education:

  • High School or GED - Required

Experience:

  • 5 years or more in Manufacturing, pharmaceutical, machine maintenance repair

Skills:

  • Ability to supervise, train, and coach staff. Strong leadership skills - Advanced
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding terminology of the job. - Advanced
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal procedures or instructions - Advanced
  • Productivity improvement experience - Advanced
  • Great time management and multitasking skills - Advanced

The base salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $105,000 per year.   Amneal ranges reflect the Company's good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting.  Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.  At the heart of our Total Rewards commitment is a comprehensive, flexible and competitive benefits program for eligible positions that enables you to choose the plans and coverage that meet your personal needs.
