Sr Advanced Quality Engineer (Finance)



As a Sr Advanced Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our aerospace products and services. You will leverage your expertise to drive quality initiatives, improve processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.

You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our Olathe, KS location on an Onsite work schedule. In this role, you will impact the future of Honeywell by leading quality improvement projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement advanced quality engineering processes to ensure product excellence.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve product design and process capabilities.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.As a Sr Advanced Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will lead our quality engineering team, develop advanced quality control processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will enhance supplier quality and operational excellence. You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our Olathe, KS location on a On-site, work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within the aerospace industry
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including Six Sigma and Lean principles
  • Experience with quality management systems and regulatory compliance

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or Quality Management
  • Experience in leading quality improvement projects and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and certifications
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulatory requirements and quality management systems applicable to R&O operations (e.g., AS9100, FAA regulations).
