Marketing Manager (Marketing)



Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote a company's products or services, aiming to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive revenue growth. They oversee all aspects of marketing campaigns, including planning, execution, and analysis, while also collaborating with other teams to ensure consistent messaging.

The Marketing Manager must reside in Michigan.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Provides brand planning and leadership by ensuring appropriate brand strategies, tactics, and capabilities / competencies are developed to meet Glorious revenue goals
Oversees the strategic, compliant development and evaluation of promotions (retail & wholesale), and digital engagement.
Measures and analyzes approved marketing campaigns & promotion results/impact. Establishes regular meeting cadence with trade marketing and sales counterparts. Analyzes data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, identifies key learnings/insights and best practices in order to help drive optimization.
Collaborates with sales team and the VP of Revenue to fully align marketing strategy and plans with business needs to create a comprehensive, best-in-class multi-channel marketing strategy for activation and execution.
Defines field marketing Targets & KPIs; tracks brand ambassadors' performance weekly /monthly / quarterly.
Enforces brand guidelines through the line with consistent messaging across all channels.
Demonstrates understanding of brands and service offerings of key competitors with the objective of identifying and leveraging opportunities to further differentiate our products.
Monitors & distributes relevant shopper & competitive intelligence.
Consistently maintains strict compliance with all state regs and company policies.
Works collaboratively with Operations, Sales and Finance.
Maintains awareness of key market players, tools and trends to keep the Glorious team a step ahead of competitors and relevant in target markets.
Performs related duties as assigned by the VP of Revenue.





Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or greater
Entrepreneurial mindset and creative bent
Experience in the cannabis industry is a must
Experience in marketing, communications or a relevant field
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, etc)


Skills and Abilities

Demonstrates ability to think strategically and execute creatively.
Works effectively independently in a rapid pace work and challenging market environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Performs best when collaborating within a cross-functional team
Analytical skills and business acumen are a must
Self-driven and accountable; comfortable working in office or remote work environment; demonstrated ability to take initiative
Results-driven, proactive; positive problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities to effectively deliver results on time and under budget
Excellent project management and organizational skills with expert attention to detail
Proficiency with social media platforms and analytics


Other Requirements:
Ability to travel (to the extent feasible)
Must pass all state and federal background checks
