DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Supports the planning, execution, and project management of large-scale consumer-facing events and competitions.
  • Coordinates communication, logistics, and deliverables among internal Nintendo teams and, occasionally, with outside business partners for the execution of events.
  • Ensures strict adherence to internal policies and procedures and leads coordination of all necessary documentation, such as action memos, non-disclosure agreements, player agreements, tournament rules, etc.
  • Coordinates approvals for overall tactics including video, print and other assets among outside partners, internal teams and stakeholders, department leadership and Nintendo Company Limited (NCL).
  • Supports intake and review of license applications for community and commercial tournaments.
  • Applies input and feedback on executional direction from senior leadership, for successful event production and execution.
  • This role may entail training of on-site event staff regarding roles, responsibilities, tournament rules, as well as operation of hardware, software, and any game-relevant activity.
  • Provides feedback on written reports and analysis of competitions for internal marketing groups, and may be asked to collect and maintain relevant data.
  • Dedicated to familiarizing oneself with an in-depth understanding of game features through hands-on game play that may be conducive to competitive activity.
  • Supports elements of competition execution as directed by senior leadership to showcase competitive fun of Nintendo IP.
  • Handles shipping, receiving, and tracking of all external promotions and events.
  • Extensive gameplay experience on all assigned titles.
