What You'll Get to Do

The Material Handler 1 is focused on preparing ready-to-install glass to be sent to customers for assembling shower doors and reports to the Frame Packing Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who is detail-oriented and self-motivated individual with strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn new tools and processes, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure product quality and accuracy. A vital member of the Frame Packing Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Inspect glass for all imperfections/defects and use a buffing tool to correct.
• Utilize tape measure to ensure product matches the dimensions on the label and work order.
• Sort products accurately, according to work orders.
• Transport products safely to different areas of the plant

What We Are Looking For

• Must be able to read detailed labels on material.
• Must be able to learn to operate buffing tool.
• Must be proficient in using (or able to learn how to use) a tape measure and understanding decimals/fractions.
• Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
