Community Support Specialist/Medical Records (Administrative)

Kruse Village is looking for a Community Support Specialist to help our campus run smoothly by managing medical records, coordinating supply orders, and supporting daily operations. What You'll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers of Support)
Keep the Campus Running Smoothly (60%)
· Monitor and manage inventory of medical and operational supplies.
· Place and track orders while coordinating with vendors for cost-efficient, timely delivery.
· Ensure supply storage and handling meet all regulations and safety standards.
Maintain Vital Records (20%)
· Accurately manage resident medical records including charting, filing, and retrieval.
· Support compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
· Work with clinical teams to ensure documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
Be the Administrative Backbone (20%)
· Assist with scheduling, phones, internal communications, and administrative tasks.
· Help coordinate audits, transportation, special events, and interdepartmental support.
· Manage admissions, transfers, and discharges, including associated documentation.

What You Bring to the Table (Besides a Calm, Can-Do Attitude)
? Credentials & Experience:
· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a business or healthcare-related field preferred.
· Prior experience in long-term care or senior living strongly preferred.
· Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and electronic medical records (PointClickCare a plus).
? Skills & Strengths:
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
· Clear communicator who collaborates well with others.
· Comfort with computer systems, data entry, and multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
? Physical & Schedule Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform occasional bending, lifting, and reaching.
· Flexible schedule including occasional weekends or holidays as needed.
· Availability to assist across shifts and respond to resident or facility needs.
