Role Overview 

As the Payroll Administrator, you'll have a big mission. Your mission if you chose to accept it will be to generate leads, sell, and renew apartment leases in accordance with company and Fair Housing guidelines. You will be responsible for assuring the Company's standards are achieved and excellent customer service is delivered. You also understand the value of taking a moment to express gratitude to the village that helped to make it happen. As you can likely tell, 'how' things are done matters just as much as ‘what' is done here at B.HOM.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for accurate and timely payroll data submissions to third-party payroll vendor; works closely with payroll vendor to meet company objectives and deadlines.
  • Assists with the upload of payroll data into company software.
  • Reviews calculations for payroll wage allocations, labor accruals, PTO accruals, and general ledger coding for accuracy and completeness.
  • Supports the Payroll team by providing information to employees regarding pay and benefits surrounding frequently asked questions.
  • Assists in developing techniques for compiling, preparing, and presenting payroll and bonus data.
  • Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and auditing payroll data.
  • Provide end-user support for HRIS including liaison with third-party payroll provider and HRIS vendor.
  • Assist in setting up and reviewing report schedules to ensure delivery to appropriate parties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

You Have  

  •  Associates degree in accounting or related field and 2-4 years related work experience.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality related to employee records and information
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
  • Relies on limited experience and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
  • Proficient in Excel
