Coordinator, Content Operations (Finance)

Yahoo Sports is seeking a highly motivated Content Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is an entry-level role ideal for recent college graduates who are passionate about sports media and are excited to launch their career in the industry. The Coordinator will support the broader content team in helping organize projects, streamline workflows and drive collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manager, Content Operations in organizing and tracking major content initiatives, including tentpole planning, reporting and team operations.
  • Compile, organize and update reports on content performance across video, social, audio and editorial.
  • Analyze data and performance trends to inform content planning, prioritization and decision-making.
  • Assist with cross-functional communication between the content team and other groups such as Sales, Business Development and Partnerships and Product.
  • Develop and maintain processes to improve team workflow and project tracking.
  • Conduct research to support strategic planning and new content initiatives.
  • Support partner management efforts with content partners, talent, tools, and other vendors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (completed or expected within 2025)
  • Previous internship or project experience in content, media, sports, or related fields.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Passion for sports and a basic understanding of the sports media landscape.
  • Solutions-oriented with an eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the organization.

The compensation for this position ranges from $72,750.00 - $151,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
