Product System Manager (Manufacturing)

This position provides overall team leadership to manage plant operations in the areas of safety, quality, cost, productivity, reliability, continuous improvement, housekeeping/5S, good manufacturing practices (GMP), internal control, asset management, customer service, human resources and team capability development in a union environment. This position manages teams that drive continuous improvement on the assets in close partnership with the Continuous Improvement (CI) & Capabilities, Reliability and Engineering teams at the manufacturing site and with the regional team. Incumbent will set objectives that will have a direct and significant impact on plant and sector results and in the delivery of customer service for Kimberly-Clark.
In this role, you will:
Lead business objectives for operations and maintenance in high-capacity, technically complex manufacturing environments.
Serve as a strategic leader on the facility's leadership team, contributing to long-term direction and planning.
Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Logistics to drive integrated business initiatives.
Influence and participate in broad-based business projects beyond core operational responsibilities.
Define and drive plant-level objectives in key areas including: GMP compliance, cost control and internal compliance, and safety and quality.
Partner closely with the Plant Manager and other leaders to guide facility-wide decisions and initiatives.
Contribute to the development of plant philosophy, policies, employee relations, and communication strategies.
Support acquisition and management of facility assets and coordination of special events
This position will oversee the full product system in the areas of Tissue and Converting, as well as our Maintenance department.
The role will oversee a team of 10-15 salaried employees and roughly 220 indirect reports.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or relevant discipline, required
10 + years of experience in Operations, Business, Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and /or Maintenance.
Ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge in people management and development
Demonstrated ability to organize, influence, and lead a multi-functional team and foster a proactive team environment.
Experience in multiple plants, product systems and corporate staff experience, along with leadership of a non-exempt workforce is highly desired.
Ability to lead organization change, establish and build relationships, manage conflict, problem solve, set priorities, develop strategic vision, and generate new ideas to deliver business results.
Experience working in a Union environment would be a plus.
Ability to trave 10-20% for benchmarking and best practice sharing.

Salary Range: 157,720 – 194,760 USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
