Night Auditor (Part Time) - Embassy Suites by Hilton Milpitas Silicon Valley (Finance)




The Embassy Suites by Hilton Milpitas Silicon Valley is looking for a Part-Time Night Auditor to join the team! This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to grow in the Hospitality industry. We are a 267-room hotel off I-680, 11 miles from Silicon Valley and San Jose. We're 10 minutes from the Great Mall and 20 minutes from Levi's Stadium.

Hourly Rate: The hourly rate for this role is $22.00 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

Shift Pattern: The typical shift start time will be 11:00PM and the typical end time will be 7:30AM.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least one (1) year of customer service experience is required
  • Experience as a hotel front desk clerk or night auditor is highly desired.
  • Ability to work independently, manage overnight shifts, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Experience with OnQ system for Front Desk is an asset

What will I be doing?

As Night Auditor, you would be responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Audit, post and balance daily cashiers' work for outlets including, but not limited to, outlets in Rooms and Food and Beverage
  • Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transactionlists.
  • Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train new teammembers.
  • Assist as needed with guest delivery to include linens/towels, amenities, etc.
  • Provide a warm and welcoming front desk experience to our late-night arrivals.
  • Must be able to work the overnight shift
