As a Senior Engineer within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing identity and access management solutions that ensure secure and compliant access to Publix systems. This role requires collaboration across various departments, including internal security teams and other stakeholders, while consistently applying industry best practices for security. Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert in IAM.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, implement, and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
  • Lead and coordinate IAM project efforts to ensure successful and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across security, infrastructure, and application teams to provide secure and seamless IAM services.
  • Review and enhance IAM controls to address security gaps and improve protection measures.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, conduct research, and integrate systems with a strong focus on security.
  • Participate in an On-Call rotation to provide critical escalation support.

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or an analytical discipline and/or equivalent experience,
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in IAM engineering roles.
  • 2+ years of experience in Privileged Access Management (PAM), including vaulting and application secret management tools or 2+ years of experience in implementing and troubleshooting Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations using OIDC and SAML.
  • Experience with cloud IAM products such as Microsoft Entra ID or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in IAM engineering roles.
  • 3+ years in experience in PAM, including vaulting and application secret management tools such as CyberArk, Conjur, HashiCorp Vault, and Delinea.
  • Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) implementation.
  • Experience with containerization technologies and automation scripts for software implementation.
  • Familiarity with Azure services such as Logic App, EventHub, Azure Function.
  • Experience with authentication protocols for network devices.
  • Experience with Identity Lifecycle Management, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Identity Governance tools.
