Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Commercial Loan Serving and Processing to understand department workflow and responsibilities.
- Performs analysis of financial statements and tax returns to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
- Uses financial statements and tax returns to develop cash flow analysis.
- Utilizes financial ratios to evaluate the customers' financial status.
- Prepares loan presentation documents and check lists.
- Assists the Commercial Loan Officers in completing Annual Reviews.
- Orders flood hazard determinations, credit reports, UCC lien searches, title policies, etc.
- Orders commercial/residential property evaluations and appraisals.
- Performs preliminary research such as UCC lien searches, property information, etc.
- Participates in new loan development programs, marketing programs, bank events and community activities.
- To perform all job duties and maintain compliance with all banking acts, laws and regulations applicable to your job function.
Qualifications Required
-A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or
-Two years' experience as a credit analyst.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Sitting for extended periods of time, requires close visual acuity and the ability to work and operate computer applications and equipment including copy machine, telephone, scanner or other basic business equipment. Some infrequent travel is required for branch/department visitations. A Valid driver's license is required. The job is within the normal office environment range.
