We specialize in commercial landscape installation and maintenance, including irrigation, with a service portfolio that includes professional and medical offices, retail centers, industrial complexes, multi-family developments, and homeowner association communities. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Jr. Estimator, you will assist the Estimating Team in all tasks related to commercial landscape construction. You will be responsible for various administrative duties, as well as calculating estimations for projects. This may involve partnering with our in-house service teams, managing/assisting with projects, and ultimately delivering the solution we have promised our customer.

ESSENTIAL FNCTIONS

Communicate daily with the Estimating Coordinator and any other team members on required tasks of the day, assistance that may be required or that can be provided and communicate any issues as they arise.
Proficient in multi-tasking, organization, time management and detail oriented.
Achieve personal and team sales revenue goals by contributing to the sales efforts.
Assist all team members as required to ensure that the deadlines on the Bid Calendar are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Assist in proper setup and organization of new estimating projects - project folders, plan sets, specifications, etc.
Analyze and interpret Bid Documents to ensure that the proper scope is accounted for through thorough investigation of ALL plans, specs, RFI, Bid Forms and addendum.
Solicit material and subcontractor quotes as directed.
Ensure accurate production rates are in the estimate per department standard or as directed.
Perform onscreen take-offs in estimating software and update estimates as necessary per department standard.
Create accurate estimates based on detailed takeoffs created from landscape designs with clear and concise annotations as necessary.
Ensure all estimates are ready for internal review 2 days prior to the bid date.
Assist Project Managers by preparing job packets or other tasks as directed.
Knowledge of industry terms and project sequencing is a plus.
Coachable, a desire to learn and driven to pursue a career path in the commercial landscape construction industry.
Interact with landscape construction team members to ensure customer needs are met.
Other Administrative tasks as assigned.


ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
Minimum Education or Training Required:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum Experience Required:

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
Customer service principles and practices.
Ability to work phone system.
Data entry
