What you will enjoy doing*

TrainingCoordinator responsibilities include communicating with managers and TeamLeaders to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teamsand individuals. Training Coordinators are responsible for managing, designing,developing, coordinating and conducting all training programs under theguidance of the Training Team Leader.

  • Works under the leadership of the Training TeamLeader and acts as backup during Training
    Team Lead absence.
  • Participates in the interviewing process ofOperations Technicians.
  • Conducts the orientation and onboarding of NewHires.
  • Sets new hires up with Oracle access, Airwaves,Employee ID's, vending machine access, and supports benefit enrollment.
  • Direct reporting responsibilities for the first90-days of new hires, including communicating with the appropriate team leadersand managers to monitor and assess performance and attendance within the first90-days.
  • Develops, coordinates, and maintains trainingprograms with direction of Training Team Leader.
  • Administers Peer-to-Peer training program.
  • Shift training as required for Quality, Safety,and Production Process "Reminders." Yearly recurring trainingincluding NCR, Back-to-Basics and General Knowledge test.
  • Assist in design and development of training courses to meet safety andbusiness goals.
  • Reviews, evaluates, and selects material to supplement training.
  • Maintains training records including a training matrix.
  • Reviews, updates, and maintains JA's, and otheroperational documentation.
  • Participates in Lean / Six Sigma / Quality / Safety efforts as necessary ordirected.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What makes you great

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 5 years production experience or 2 years as a G10 required.
  • Previous leadership/supervisory experience desired.
  • Able and willing to work any shift as required by the job.
  • Proficiency in Excel,Word, and PowerPoint desired.
  • Willing to Work extendedhours and/or weekends and holidays as required.
  • Ability to communicateand work well in a diverse environment.
  • Strong verbal andwritten communication skills.
  • Ability to work withminimal supervision.
  • Experience designing anddeveloping training courses preferred.
  • Previous demonstratedtraining skills/experience preferred.
  • Must be able to read,comprehend, and understand work instructions as well as technicalspecifications.
  • Must be able to add,subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Capable of lifting up to40lbs.
  • Frequent standing,walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, occasional stooping,crouching, and climbing.
