Lead Building Automation Field Service Technician (Richmond Service Area) 3K Sign-on Bonus (Finance)
As a Lead Building Automation Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of building automation systems. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting these systems to optimize building performance and occupant comfort. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our customers' facilities. You will report directly to our Technical Operations Manager, and you'll work out of our Richmond, VA location, serving customers throughout central VA.
In this role, you will have a direct impact on the energy efficiency, sustainability, and overall functionality of our customers' buildings.
This role is eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot building automation systems, perform inspections and preventive maintenance, respond to service calls, and collaborate with teams and clients to improve system performance. Provide user training and stay current with industry trends to recommend improvements.YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation or related field
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in building automation systems
- Familiarity with industry standards and protocols (e.g., BACnet, LonWorks)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
