Supply Chain Analyst I (Finance)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Supply Chain Analyst I role gains independence while collaborating cross-functionally across the Company to obtain optimal cost, quality, and service from suppliers.
  • Fosters accountability for communication, analysis, purchasing, execution, and delivery required for their assigned categories.
  • Serves as an “agent” for ALLETE with the responsibility to make purchasing commitments for materials, equipment, supplies, and services.
  • Ensures compliance with government and Company commercial, financial, legal, safety, environmental, and ethical regulations and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers and external suppliers

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Preferred focus in supply chain management, business administration, accounting, or related field required. No experience required.
    OR
  • An associates degree with a minimum of two years of related experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications required.
  • Proficiency in enterprise software systems desirable.
  • Position may be subject to successful completion of computer skills assessment based on position responsibilities.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • The expected annual compensation range for this position is $51,000- $63,000. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
