Personal Trainer - Fitness Specialist (Personal Services)



We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Fitness Specialist to join our team at the Ford Ernest Lofton Fitness Center. If you're passionate about fitness and enjoy helping others meet their goals through expert guidance and a positive environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Schedule Options:
This position is for a Part-Time (Weekends) position, Expected Hours: 8-24 per month
• Saturdays: 4:30 AM - 12:00 PM OR 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM• Sundays: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM• Must be available for at least two shifts per month; one must be a 4:30 AM shift.
Key Responsibilities:• Supervise the fitness facility and ensure the safety of all participants• Engage with participants to provide support and monitor equipment usage• Deliver instruction on proper exercise techniques, form, and injury prevention• Maintain organized participant and administrative files• Keep the workout space clean and orderly

Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology, or a related field (seniorlevel students will be considered) - Preferred• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification - Required• Personal Training certification (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NSCA, or NASM) - Preferred

Desired Skills:• Strong knowledge of exercise physiology and anatomy• Experience in personal training• Understanding of proper body mechanics and exercise form• Front desk/customer service experience - Preferred
