Sorter 1 (Finance)
The Sorter 1 is responsible for inspecting, sorting, and preparing parts and materials for production. The Sorter 1 will work closely with the Quality and Production teams to ensure that all products meet company standards and customer specifications. Ideal candidates are reliable, efficient, and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect parts, materials, and products to identify defects, inconsistencies, or damages.
- Sort according to quality standards and specifications.
- Ensure only quality-assured parts move forward in the production process; remove and document defective items.
- Record quantities, types of sorted materials, and defects identified. Communicate any discrepancies or issues with the Quality team.
- Assist in inventory organization by labeling, storing, and preparing parts for shipment or further processing as required.
- Work with other team members to meet production and quality goals.
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on product quality.
- Basic math and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Previous manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
