Sales Manager, Mapping Solutions (Engineering)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Job Overview

An innovative and experienced Director of Mapping Solutions to lead the Inertial Labs mapping and geospatial technology team. In the role, the person is responsible for shaping the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of Inertial Lab's mapping solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and industry partnership resources to develop competitive products aligning with internal strategic goals and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the vision and strategy for Inertial Labs mapping solutions team that supports both internal business goals and target market needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional team. Foster a collaborative, results-driven environment that encourages creativity and continuous learning.
  • Stay at the forefront of geospatial technologies. Identify new opportunities for innovation within the mapping and geospatial domain. Stay informed of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the industry. Guide the integration of these technologies and market intelligence into product development.
  • Lead business development. Build, expand, and strengthen a global partner network.  Work closely with customer-facing teams to continuously improve the understanding of customer needs and translate them into competitive mapping products and services.
  • Define, track, and report on key business objectives. Ensure the performance of the mapping solutions team align with company goals.

    Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

    Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Geospatial Sciences with strong understandings of Computer Science, Mapping and Survey technologies and industry standards and practices.
    • 10+ years of experiences in geospatial technology industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of global business development in geospatial markets, managing and scaling geospatial product teams.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to formulate and present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    156,000
