Your Next Career Opportunity – Permitting Specialist I

A professional with attained experience and knowledge in solving a wide range of permitting issues and performing acquisition and permitting activities.

What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities

  • Good experience in acquisition and permitting processes.
  • Practical experience with governmental institutions and concessionaries processes.
  • Experience in due diligences.
  • Project management direction on day-to-day work.
  • Coordination and control of vendors being responsible for the communication flow and the permitting project deployment and constantly follow-up to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Organize, control and assist in the preparation of various written documents, information and applications to the various Permitting and regulatory agencies. These documents include but are not limited to license and permit applications, reports or responses to specific requests from regulatory agencies
  • Follow up of permitting processes and related items to ensure all permits and licenses are obtained and renewed, as applicable, in a timely manner.
  • Follow up and control of permitting requests for new tenants-carriers, as applicable; interface with carries for permitting documentation demands.
  • Review and analyze legal codes & implementation designs.
  • Good record keeping to ensure that all permits, licenses and related information are properly and accurately maintained and same are in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
    • Good excel skills to prepare high complexity and professional reports, including but not limited to detailed status reports on all licenses and permit.
  • Negotiation skills, Teamwork, Problem-solving person.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

What You'll Need – Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bilingual in English/Portuguese  preferred to Portuguese speaking territory
  • Bilingual in English/Swahili preferred to Swahili speaking territory
  • Bilingual in English/ Spanish preferred to Spanish speaking territory
 
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • and 3-5 years of experience in permitting processes and project deployment.
  • Domestic Travel 40% of the time travel within country may be required in support of the position's responsibilities.
  • Valid Government Issued Driver's License

  • Manual dexterity to input data into the computer and the calculator and operate the equipment listed above.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
