Lead R&D Technician - Catalysis Research (Finance)

This position provides a unique opportunity to support extrusions for catalyst development projects, prepare finished catalyst materials, and collaborate with other R&D departments to accelerate catalyst discovery.

The hourly range for this position is $33.46 - 42.00. Please note that this compensation information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct extrusions of catalysts on new prototype materials
• Support metals finishing on catalyst at a laboratory bench scale
• Prepare and submit samples for various analytical and chemical analyses
• Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory, and communicate with vendors for service requests
• Communicate with customers to keep them informed and educated
• Transform catalyst data storage through digitization efforts
• Participate in all departmental safety activities and conduct all work with a high degree of attention to safetyYOU MUST HAVE:
• H.S. Diploma or GED
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or pilot plant environment.
