Sr. Finance Analyst (Finance)



We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst specializing in cost analysis to provide strategic insights that drive profitability and efficiency. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze costs, recommend processes for cost reduction, and support financial planning and analysis. You will play a crucial role in the decision-making process and contribute to the company's financial health.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Conduct in-depth cost analysis by gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to management.
  • Collaborate with various departments to monitor and analyze cost trends, providing recommendations for margin improvements and cost management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain cost models, forecasts, and budgets to ensure accurate tracking and communication of financial performance.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs through data-driven assessments.
  • Prepare variance analysis reports to identify trends and support operational insights that contribute to strategic decisions.
  • Support ongoing M&A activities / projects as needed.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.You will report directly to our Sr. Director, Finance and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the overall financial health of the organization by analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing actionable insights that will guide business strategies and initiatives.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably with a specific focus on cost management and analysis in a corporate setting.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems and financial software is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
