RN – Weekender Inpatient - Surgery/OR (Finance)



90% FTE, Day/Evening Weekender position. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift/weekend differential. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Pay:
Additional components of compensation may include:

  • Shift differentials: $4/hour evening differential as applicable for hours worked.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

  • Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients who may also have underlying medical problems.
  • Develop a therapeutic relationship by establishing trust and enabling the patient and/or family to verbalize the requirements for care comfortably.

Education :

Minimum - Associate Degree - Nursing (ADN)

Preferred - Bachelor of Science - Nursing (BSN)

Work Experience :

Minimum - Six (6) months of current independent PACU, Emergency Department or Surgical Critical Care, Surgical ICU or Surgical IMC experience.

Preferred - Three (3) years current PACU experience with demonstrated success in meeting PACU competencies.

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin, BLS/CPR certification.
