Case Mgr/Coord, Equal Opp - Internal (Finance)

Description:

This is an internal posting, only current UHV employees will be considered.

Coordinates services for students and employees who report discrimination concerns, including sexual misconduct reports, through intake, support services, referrals, investigation, and record preservation.

1. In coordination with supervisor, determines appropriate actions for referred cases.

2. Collects and provides data for Sexual Misconduct Response Team, Behavioral Assessment Team, Clery reports, public information requests, and internal audits.

3. Researches and analyzes data to identify trends and to fulfill Equal Opportunity federal and state compliance regulations.

4. Consults with campus community members who are seeking guidance about services for prevention and possible incidents of discrimination, including sexual misconduct.

5. Oversees follow-up with individuals affected by possible discrimination or sexual misconduct, and liaisons with other departments and faculty to confirm accommodations.

6. Collaborates with Equal Opportunity staff and student workers on the design and implementation of training and educational programming to prevent discrimination, share information about support services, and encourage reporting.

7. Coordinates daily office operations, which includes scheduling hearings and interviews, advising student workers, securing documentation, and administering financial transactions.

8. Works closely with Counseling Center, Campus Police, Student Conduct, Residence Life, Disability Services, and other campus constituents to support Equal Opportunity functions.

9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice, human resources, psychology, student affairs/higher education administration, or similar field and (2) years related experience; prefer master's degree, graduate study or related advanced certification(s)
